2015 was a big year for office openings for us in the state of California, as we unveiled our new tech hub in San Francisco and our new office in Los Angeles. While much was written and said about the design of each, we are proud to share that both offices were recently recognized by Interior Design’s Best of Year Awards. The San Francisco Tech Hub was a runner up for design of the year in the Mid-Size Tech Office Category (Architects: IwamotoScott) and the Los Angeles office was a runner up for design of the year in the Small Tech (& Media) Office Category (Architects: Shimoda Design Group).
Our head of design, Emanuela Frattini Magnusson had this to say:
“Bloomberg redefined workplace design more than ten years ago, and has always understood the role that design plays as a competitive advantage. This belief is core to our brand. The new offices in SF and LA continue our commitment to this legacy and take it in a new direction. We collaborated with some of the best local talent with the intent to create spaces that beyond meeting business needs provide a welcoming experience and are an expression of local culture.”
